It's Party Time !

April 24, 2016

Who likes throwing a cool...chic party ?

I am one of those who love throwing parties.Either for myself, my friends or my kids.It is fun and believe it or not throwing a nice party without spending too much money is gets so easy nowadays. There are few shops on ETSY that I have been getting my supplies from and they are quite reasonable price. They ship worldwide and it fast !
Just by looking at the nice stuffs they have...afraid I couldn't get my hands off it.

I love their stuffs that they put together in group of colours, themes or occasions.Trust me people taking photos just about anywhere and anything they do these days. They'd be thrilled to go to a party that have so many nice props for it.
I'd love to share for those who love DIY project or trying to have a nice party without spending a fortune.Check it out :)

Down My Memory Lane - Portobello Market, UK. Where to eat and stay there ?

Sunday 24th April 2016, another hot day !

I began my morning with a cup of coffee while scrolling through my old photos from my London trip.I usually go back and forth looking at those collected memories and really wish to go back there again.

We stayed in one very nice apartment down in Portobello Market.I am glad we chose to stay there because it was right in the centre of hip and fun place to be.I found this cool artist apartment on Air BNB.The owner of the place,Maya was very kind to help guiding us through our visit.I posted photos of this apartment and link to her page on Air BNB in case anyone interested to check it out.
Oh..I love her place so much..

here is the link to her place:  https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1926208

The little shops selling vintage pieces and cool art items were scattered along the street. As a crafter myself, this is one heaven for me :)
As we walked through the market and shops all morning. We spotted one Thai restaurant on the side of the street "THAI RICE"
and thought..hmm let's stop by for some coffee or cold beers, shall we?

A warm welcoming smiles from Thai staffs reminded me of my home,Bangkok :)We sat by the front window so we can enjoy our view from the street. The atmosphere, the cleanliness and the price were reasonable. The foods were yummy ! We shall go there again soon.London is one of my favourite city to be.Not speaking of being there with my dear other half. That always incomparable with anything..

Comfort food as always... hungry ? Stir-fried Macaroni With Bacons

When it comes to kid's food..all I can think of for my boys is this super quick and easy dish. They love it! I added a little bit of pesto sauce  and a dash of truffle oil.It really made a lot different than just plain ones.

Ingredients :

Macaroni or pasta of your choice
Bacon Bits
Carrots - cut in cubes ( add more veggies if you want ! )
Garlic - just few cloves and chopped
Olive Oil
Pesto sauce
Salt

How to:

In a pot,Cook macaroni in hot boiling water for 8-10 minutes about.Drain water out and leave it aside. In a pan,add some olive oil and when it gets hot put chopped garlic in then bacon bits and carrots.Cook until carrots become softened a bit.Put macaroni in followed with pesto sauce and a bit of truffle oil and stir them all thoroughly, a pinch of salt to taste..you will smell all the goodness together now ! Now your quick yummy dish ready to be served.
Bon Appétit !
